Pediatric Feeding, Edmonton | Regan Petrosky SLP
Regan Petrosky, MSc. SLP, R.SLP, S-LP(C)
I am an experienced speech-language pathologist based out of Edmonton with a wealth of knowledge in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2010 with a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
My career focus has always been driven by my passion for family centered care, and I love working with families and young children to support healthy development. I have a wide range of clinical experience through my work at the Stollery Children’s Hospital providing inpatient and outpatient care, as well as through the public school board in preschool speech and language services.
I am certified with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, as well as Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. I am a mother to two young boys, and in my free time I enjoy exploring in nature with my family.
Pediatric feeding & swallowing
I work collaboratively with families to support feeding skills from birth to childhood. I have experience working with families experiencing feeding issues related to a variety of medical issues, including premature birth, developmental delays, cleft lip and palate, oral aversion, reflux, and other medical concerns. I believe fed is best, and support infants and children who breastfeed, bottle feed, use cups, eat solids, or rely on non-oral methods of receiving nutrition.
Speech, language, & communication
I work with families and children to support development of speech, language, and communication skills. Services offered include assessment (including PUF qualifying), consultation, parent training, and direct therapy. I am certified in the Hanen More Than Words program, and have experience working with a variety of communication needs related to developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and cleft palate.
